Center for Tissue Innovation and Research Expansion

John Poe Architects is currently designing a 135,000 sf expansion to the Center for Tissue Innovation and Research in Kettering, Ohio.  The original facility, also designed by JPA and opened in 2011, enhanced the emergence of Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services as a national leader in the expanding field of tissue research, development, graft production and distribution.  CTIR is one of the most sophisticated tissue facilities in the world.  The expansion will add 16 state of the art ISO Class Five Clean Rooms to expand production of tissue grafts that enhance the quality of life for countless recipients throughout the United States.  Construction will be completed in Spring, 2020.
