JPA Places fourth in Kettering mini grand prix
The John Poe Architects team fell just short of victory, placing fourth in the field of 19 racers at the Taj Kreuzers SpeedFest First Annual Mini Grand Prix to benefit The Ronald McDonald House of the Miami Valley held Memorial Day Weekend at Kettering's Lincoln Park.
Teams representing local businesses and civic groups decorated "Mini Indy" race cars and selected drivers and pit crew members for the event. Team JPA was led by Crew Chief Ken Raiteri with stellar driving performances turned in by Regina Raiteri and Chris Renner.
The Mini Grand Prix is part of a series of automotive events designed to raise money and awareness for Ronald McDonald House. Organizers anticipate raising over $100,000 from this year's SpeedFest.
